Today they lay to rest the late governor Gakuru.

Behind the scenes there is the First wife and two more women. Obviously as soon as the coffin hits the ground, there will be a court case as pertains to property rights and what not. This is a scenario replicated in many homes.

Closer home. Grandma passed and months later Grandpa followed her. I always think he never got over the guilt of having mistreated her for more that half of her life. From what I have heard the second wife (she insists she was a wife) said he was never the he same after she died.

Anyway to date the succession case is still ongoing. He had bank accounts, land and other investments he never bothered to disclose to anyone. Not his kids or the women in his life .

I see how busy men are amassing wealth and for some reason, they cannot trust the wives with the investment details. They also do not divulge these details to any of their children. If I may ask, what is it for?

We all know that we are passing through, this world is not our home. Why not have your affairs in order? You know, mention you have multiple wives, have a will with a lawyer and let family know of its existence incase of any eventualities. It would save your family a huge headache.

If you disclose you will most likely leave this world earlier than planned, either from the resultant stress or from a direct dispatch. You will forever be stressed as kids position themselves to inherit you. Others will forever blackmail you. Spouses will trick you into believing that they care for you. The solution, kaa kama fukara so that people can be themselves. Those who reveal leave more mess behind.

Umegonga dipo. You tell your wife that you have applied for a 2 mirrion loan with Equity and it has been credited to your account. She wants to manage the money or wants you to account to the last cent. You disclose to her your monthly pay and she budgets for it. If women accepted their position in the family, hakungekuwa na hizi mambo zote.
