Dental Clinics: Any recommendations in Nairobi?

I need to go for a thorough dental check up and maintenance in Nairobi. Any recommendations for good clinics? Refill, cleaning, removal, etc… Not been to a dentist for a very very long time…

just google, I hope you know the cost though

I know but you know in Kenya there are many quacks who operate these places… What is the cost? Can be town, Upper Hill, Parklands, Westlands, Nairobi West…

Try Tabasamu Dental clinic next to Mayfair and Nbi hospital

DENTAL SMILES, that’s where i take ll my family members.

Tayarisha mfuko, huko sio kwa watoto na watu wa NHIF…

Where is this one based? Hakuna shida if the services are excellent and have the latest best equipment for this!

Molars. Electricity house 12th floor.

Anza na Cresent ,they are quite okay and pocket friendly, then you can move to the fancier ones for advanced checkup

Where is Cresent?

Molars…

Kuna moja najua nikiishi pango alafu ingine iko somwhere in ngara,a google map search itasaidia in exact position

UoN dental school

Huko kuna some dentists who want to make an extra coin through some uncouth means.
Like they don’t tell you all the details of the treatment.
Then you are given a package but ukienda kumalizana nao unasikia kuna something else that needs to be done and you need to cough up some more cash.
Sijasema ni wote wanafanya hivyo,I have also dealt with a very humble straight forward dentist huko

Hii mtaa nimeskia imekojolewa sana read some reviews vyenye walikua wanafanyia mse root canal ama ni filling, two weeks later imechapa na mnarudi… Slow service, appointments not honoured etc. There’s a place karibu NSSF I think ukigugu kwa maps “dentists Nairobi” it will indicate hapo somewhere.
PS somaga reviews on maps even if with a pinch of salt but they are illuminating…

 umegonga ndipo. Hapa kung’olewa jino niglet ni ka 7Gs jini moja :D, but wako top notch service na ambience/clinic looks n equipment. Kama ni checkups 6k twice a year cleaning etc jipange tu yearly budget

Great feedback. I will certainly avoid this one. Let me see how DENTAL SMILES works out. It appears I have to prepare like 50Gs because I have not been there for some time and will require thorough work including at least two extractions.

kung’olewa meno ni 7k?? Enyewe hapa si kwa watoto ama watu wa NHIF

You can imagine how much it would cost other services like root canal, tooth replacement, etc…

Geez in places like Nyeri it costs 1,300kshs only to remove a tooth… Hapo kwa Dr Ngugi’s clinic.

Although kuna line kubwa, I think you can save some money by avoiding Nairobi. People come from far away towns to see him. He also perfoms surgeries at cheap prices and Xrays.

Just take it as medical tourism

Ukiwa stage ya chini uliza wasee hapo they will show you his clinic. Iko nyuma ya stage. Anajulikana sana.

I am fine the charges in Nairobi if they indeed offer excellent services… my problem is those who overcharge, then carry out a tooth refill or root canal which last a few days, then it is ruined… My car consumes at best 5kilometres per litre on the highways… Now from Nairobi to Nyeri and back is around 300 Kms… Now that will be 60 litres or over 7200 bob on fuel alone (the actual cost is more than double this). Now, I am sure there are queues and that will mean waking up at 5am and then bribing them to be served first so as to return to Nairobi on time before curfew… dental work is really lengthy… it is not feasible to do that…
