This is the root of all Chelsea trouble…we have the best players. Our scouts are one of the best in the world, getting top talents to join the team. Even yesterdays man-u team was about 27% former Chelsea.
problem is that modern players are filthy rich and boss around managers. They want to play on their comfort zone. Mourihno remains a great manager. if the players supported him, I am sure we would still be title contenders. Conte was a also a great coach but players decided to sabotage him coz of personal issues. Sarri is also good and capable of winning matches with his system. But again, players have decided not to cooperate. They now don’t want to play for him. You can clearly see that Chelsea has the capacity to compete with all the top teams but players are holding back, sabotaging the team and manager.
So, Zidane can come, or whoever else, win a few matches, a cup or league, and then the cycle of “we don’t want to play for him” starts and the loosing streak sets off.

I agree our players are spoilt…too much power…but being forced to play a shitty system would also piss you…kante, a world cup winner, best player in the league last year and best in his position in the world being forced to play in an unfamiliar territory. Then we have hazard, the best left attacker in the world but the coach decides to play him in the middle! The coach has it all wrong.
Then you have David luiz, once described as a play station defender…one weekend he’s a 9/10…next he’s a 3/10
And where is Cahill and Christiansen? They hardly feature. Christiansen played very well last season yet he hasn’t played a league match this season.
Where is Moses? He was a revelation as a number 2 under conte right?
Here I see a coach who has ego issues…he wants to prove something…I would have asked him not to change a winning team…joginho is good but he can’t shield the defence… he’s better utilised further up the pitch esp when playing good teams…btw I haven’t watched Chelsea’s last three matches so maybe coach has changed.
Well, we don’t have the best players…Liverpool and mancity do…but we can do much better if we utilised our current players in the right formation and positions.
Good thing with a coach like zidane is that he commands respect of all players…Because they know he has won it all and he was the best.

At the start of the season, the Sarri ball system seemed to work until we met Spurs. We had a run of undefeated matches and even won against vcity at the bridge. I also liked the performance of Christiansen and Moses in the Conte era. We also know that Kante is best played in the defensive middle position.
But we must also appreciate the fact that each coach has a system that works for him. When Pep went to city, everybody was shocked when he dropped Yaya and Joe Hart. But after a season of failing, he emerged with a strong team.
Chelsea players should have cooperated with Sarri for at least one or two seasons. They started revolting very early even before the guy established his footing.
I think joginho is the weak link in the team. The coach trusts him to move the ball but he is not goal minded. He only wants to pass and hardly initiates attacks from the opponent’s half. Given his passing record, he should be among the leading players with assists or even goals. even Luiz from his position has the eyes to provide assisting passes. If Joginho can feed Hazard, Pedro, and Higuan with quality passes, we can get some goals. We should also try Hudoi, he seems promising and a hard worker as opposed to Alonso.
