Digital Tv and Dstv integration

My parents purchased a digital tv some few months ago and now they want to have the option of paying for extra channels such as super sport to catch those Bpl games. My question is…do you require the dish+decoder (DSTV) or only the decoder and your good to go.

Otherwise, give me some advice on how to go about it.

Digital TV can only receive FTA digital terrestrial channels(DVB-T2).
EPL is broadcast through what we call digital video satellite broadcast (DVB-S2). They will have to subscribe to DSTV which is the sole broadcaster in this region.
Otherwise they can buy FTA DVB-S2 decoders and a big dish, then get an expert to try and nab those EPL channels.

fuck dstv

If you are an expert i could definately hire you to fix the one in my house…but since my parents bado hawajaingia digital i wld prefer the simpler option…

There’s two kinds of digital TV: terrestrial (DVB-T2) and satellite (DVB-S2). In both of them, you cannot access any pay channels without purchasing the respective provider’s decoders (GoTv & PANG for DVB-T2, Zuku, dstv, Azam, Starsat for DVB-S2) as their decoders and cards are married.

Have you looked at ds charges lately for the EPL package? Unless you’re into BDSM & abusive relationships, keep off. There’s cheaper - way way cheaper - alternatives.
