Does anyone here have any connections for me to get a personal driver or Lorry turnboy job? I've driven Uber taxi in Nairobi for about 3 years, until owner decided to sell the car recently due to family issue. I'm humble, disciplined and hardworking, 25yrs. I'm also a part time mechanic at Kirinyaga Road

@snapdragon I can't imagine having to service a loan, when already Uber taxi returns are low coz of stiff competition, cheap fares and high maintenance costs(poor roads)

@emali Sure I've driven Isuzu CXZ for several trips last year delivering material to a construction site upcountry.. Being a part-time mechanic, I also understand about many engine and transmission issues

@shocks the economy has been bad esp due to politics so more people have preferred normal public transport... Plus the other reasons I mentioned above

@Deorro , this is one more reason why we need a truckers section, we need to be able to post info for members (Tristar were looking for drivers the other day and this member could have benefited if we had shared that info on KTalk instead of the other closed channels )
