@magreb I see why you’re cocking a snook when someone mentions her weaknesses.
The E46 M3 deserves an honorable mention, but that’s where it ends. It’s an enthusiast’s car, meant to sit pretty at the parking and let sentimental men discuss how it once made them feel. You can’t dare take it to Masinga for any form of race, drag or track, A road trip with the boyz is a No-No. Ukienda kuteka nayo itakuaibisha tu, it will compete with your new catch, You either leave your slay queen at the club, or call Mbuthia the flatbed owner. That said, @Karoga anika ile yako tuone. Weka pia inner wear na Engine tuone.
The E 46 with the S 54 motor and a manual getrag transmission was a pure gem ,it was the last M car without the bullshit of useless and unnecessary computer gimmick s,anauza this machine pesa ngapi, mdau ?
Great car. It is an enthusiasts car which means if you are not a DIY guy, it will give you a lot of problems and hit your pockets hard. In my opinion purchasing any M series Bimmer is problematic because the previous owners drive them hard. Most likely with little maintenance. You typically have rod issues with M series BMWs which are also partly due of underdesign ( choice of materials cannot handle mechanical stresses of the engine).
As for the E46, if I remember the turbos are a problem to get to. You have to prop the engine. And they will seize. You start to hear a noise as you accelerate and gradual loss of power.
But when that car hits the highway, it’s like no other.
