Probably one of the worst effects of the 2007 PEV in Kenya is what we are witnessing right now: a generation of highly violent young people. Recall the fact that when those atrocities were happening, there were children below 14 years who witnessed all of it via their TV. They experienced the trauma yet no counseling was given to them. In a certain way, they were customized to be violent. No wonder we are seeing young people hacking each other over issues like love.

All the people that survived the two world wars would beg to differ.

PEV was a toy conflict..a conflict not involving guns or people from the armed forces.
That is when i realized Kenya cannot sink into a civil war that easily(Thank God)..

Kenyans are already used to some level of comfort and leisure - after a few weeks people were wondering - when do i go back to my work place in Kisumu,Msa, Nai..

From the mid 90's to the late 2000's, mungiki minted a lot of violence on Kenyans, same with other groups like Baghdad boys, and others in Western kenya and kisii land.
What violence had these groupings experienced ?

That fool Raira will die like a dog. The blood of thousands of people who died is upon his hands.
