Wah! if these proposals become the law of the land then let Ekuru Aukot become the Kenyan president for 10 years. This is the kind of people we need to lead us.
But as usual I expect Wanjiku to dismiss these proposals because Wanjiku is used to misery. I hope I'm wrong

I think it proceeds to a referendum. There had to be a way of bypassing our leaders in case the public sees things differently from them. Shida ni vile umesema, this thing will be hijacked for sure. It's a good attempt though.
