Electronic Components Servicing

Japanese cars are catching on their European rivals well. Therein lies a challenge. Most luxury sedans, whether exJapan or exUK have lots of electronic components: radios that only tune to Gheto radio, navigation systems that only show the map of japan, voice control that only respond to certain accents, sensors, car-wings etc… yet the grogon, kirinyaga road and river road mechanics apan tambua electronic sensors…is there an automobile centre that only does electronics component servicing?

DIY will doo you great

May be replacing, the various systems can be digonized digitally. We have mechtronic and soon qualified engineers will be roled out from university and terciary institutions

The engineers do the designing but few have the technical ability (artisans) to diagnose and solve electrical issues.

I agree but in this world of specialization, I was hoppin that there is someone who can do it better at a cost while I focus on doing the things am best at…

An engineer can design and make, but using him for replacement work is a waste of brain and not economical anyway. If an engineer can make a car and cannot diagnose the same machine, then what kind of an engineer is that? Even that diagnosis system is designed, made, and calibrated by an engineer. Im talking about true engineers, not what kenyan universities are churning out. Engineers have levels. like layers and layers. vile tu kuna mdosi wa village alafu kuna akina bill gates, kuna engineer wa kitabu pale UON alafu kuna engineer wa ukweli pale factory sindelfingen anadesign do calculations produce and test.

Ideally that should be the case, but we have what we have now. As we train and build our Engineering to satisfactory standards, it would be good to have competent electrical or at least mechatronic automotive artisans to sort out our mbirrionaire problems.

Don’t need a mechatronic artisan for this kind of work. Just regular techies with problem solving skills. There’s nothing one can’t fix with google. Trust me in this.

You are correct what on engineering st university level ,we have terciary institutions produce techonogist and technicians to handle the work .we only had engineering board ,but late last year technologists board was constituted, thing will now flow correctly in all technical areas not forgeting the various regulatory authorities now in place

Do you really need a regulatory authority to jailbreak a stereo.

Yes we need them to enhance standards and others issues but corruption is our major drawback , imagine for example The National construction authority, NTSA ,NEMA etc etc they face serious corruption daily

Not necessarily but we need people with the technical ability to correctly diagnose and systematically jailbreak a sterio with standard results. Not these trial and error shenanigans.
