Woke up at dawn to watch this incredible moment live on TV and increably it almost broke Twitter as well.

Sub 2hrs is possible and it confirms Kalenjins and Kenyans as legendary runners of the world.

Eti wanasema it won’t count as a world record

Why? It wasn’t a certified race?

Anyway it still will be more motivation to break the sub 2 hrs in Berlin Marathon.

Boss ako lembe sana

Didn’t know he was running this weekend. Was with this guy last sato in a restaurant in Eldy and he was with his family. We were the only families there coz of the gloomy weather. I went over to say hi and as they were leaving he came over to our table and greeted my family too. If there is a modest star athlete in Kenya then it has to be this guy. So simple and down to earth, drives a vanguard you cant tell he’s a world beater. Kuna wengine kama Asbel Kiprop who i saw walk bare-footed just the other day na sahii anaweza kutemea mate or piss on you

Something to do with hydration levels and pace making.
Let me dig further and come up with the full situation.

Maybe hydration levels, pace making is in all marathon.

Bumped into Eliud in the Nike Shop Two Rivers. We were the only ones in our aisle. Dude has a very down to earth demeanor and a warm mien. Very low key and wouldn’t pass off as a world beater. Had a photo taken with him. If he breaks the world record, I’m framing that ish.

The Kenyan, 32, clocked 2:00.24 but due to the use of in-out pacemakers, the time will not be recognised as a world record, meaning Dennis Kimetto’s mark of 2:02.57 is still the quickest.

Ok, now I get it, thank you.

Si uweke hiyo photo hapa as efidens?

am glad this is happening in my lifetime
