If i were you, i would follow KRA and NTSA and ask for the paperwork required… Once you fix it in your car, you will have to update the same on the log book and that will require proper importation documents… I have changed mine and had to get the Bill of Lading from the seller in Industrial Area showing the engine number…
My main challenge is actually getting it via the border with no extra or funny costs.
However you do it, get proper papers for registration by NTSA, KRA
