Leaves crunched under their feet as they sped towards the canoe. The thorns that scratched and pricked them were ignored as they raced to the shoreline. All that mattered at that moment was escaping Ngoni Ngoni island. I forgot to introduce our heroic trio. Kinyua, Athman and Matt are their names. Their pursuer crashed through the trees causing the tropical birds perched on their ancient branches to take flight. If only the threesome could sprout wings and fly away! The trio was to scared to turn round and glance at what they were running from, lest they end up like Edith who turned round and saw Sodom and Gommorah destroyed with fire and fury. The three friends were determined to reach the canoe and leave the island forever. But before I tell you whether they made it, I must first take you to the beginning of this Saga.
