IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati (Jenipher Wachie)
The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has set a date for the repeat presidential election as ordered by the Supreme Court on Friday last week.

According to the electoral commission, the repeat exercise will be carried out on October 17, 2017.

IEBC, however, has stated that only President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga will be on the ballot.

Confirmed its on 10th October 2017 - Approx one month from now.

Will the winner need 50%+1 or a simple majority now that it looks like a rerun?

Will they have corrected the mistakes they did in the last election in just 40days? Maraga needs to give the commission a brief of the irregularities and illegalities that led to the invalidation so that corrective measures are taken.

Nimeona hapa juu 17th and 10th what is?

Hehe. Simple majority is already past 50+1 in a case of two candidates. Tumia akili Jubilidiot.

First things first though, IEBC must go and UOTP

Fake news network

So Matiangi and Magoha call a press conference request IEBC to hold the polls before October 17th because of KCPE/KCSE and 3 hours later Chebukati announces the same date? How daft does this government think Kenyans are?

IEBC is already making the wrong move even after their legal team was seen to be incompetent. They do not have a right to lock out ANYONE,hata Aukot said hata kuwa kwa debe.

No one has stopped you from moving on with your “life”. Neither Uhuru nor RAO will put food on your table nor pay your bills.
