Hey talkers…Anybody ever been delayed by the US Embassy for a student visa through its administrative processing process? Kindly share your experiences, especially how long did it take…I am sponsored by the government and will take my wife under the F-2 visa as dependent. My first F-1 visa took about 2 days. You have nothing to worry about if you were given the blue slip. The yellow one ndio unaeza ngoja hadi a decade. Your info is awaiting approval kutoka Washington. Be patient.
I was given the yellow one. No additional documents was just told they will contact me after a few days. It is 9 business days now

I got the yellow slip. Got my VISA eventually after a month valid for 5yrs. B1/B2
