Faiba 4G Has Finally Gone to Shiit

I can’t say I’m surprised. It was only a matter of time.

When this network first came to my locale I was enjoying speeds of 30mbps. Right now if I get 8mpbs it’s only when I’m in alignment with the Universe – and also happens to be 3 in the morning. All the other times it’s 1mps or less. Do I really need to go back to KES 1000 for 5GB?

How has Safcom managed to avoid being massively affected? I’m on Saf now and it seems Ok at 28mbps.

Punguza ngwati.

I was at Telkom.last night and it hit 5MBPS highest

My faiba has been great, around 8-10Mbps

Meanwhile at Safaricom am hitting 120Mbps on LTE-A, Alsopps…

The Speed test most likely is on a server they are hosting hence the seemingly high results. Most of the content we browse hosted in Europe and North America so redo the test on s server hosted there

All speed tests look for the fastest server. If I pick a fast European server, the only thing that varies is latency. Safaricom streams 4k content with no issue.
