Came across this for the pros, what is the highest speed you`ve been on a bike? Mine would have been 117 KPH on one of the drops in the Tour of Meru

117kwa bike, hapo ng’ombe ikiruka kwa barabara wewe kwisa
can’t relate
117? you had a death wish… one slight mistake and the next second the road would be painted with your brains
So, you just managed 116?:D:D:D Lazima ulishinda hio race, sio?
Its a tour, not a race. Big difference
Still curious though…which stretch was that where you almost hit 117?
100 mteremko ya Kwale with a backwind na kuna majamaa kaa Sheriff waliniovertake
So, you were doing 32 metres per second?

Assuming your bike tyre circumference at an average 2M, your revolutions would be 16 every second?
Which brings me to my question, was your speed terminal velocity or were you actively cycling?
Maybe 50
There are some special cogs za bike Hua tunaziita za wazee, kaa uko na hii you can pedal at 120kms/hr but in my case I just hang on and let gravity do the rest as I streamline my body
About 80kph with my black mamba, down the ngomongo slopes in baba dogo
Danganya maasai

You have a speedo that you look at that shows speed, you put the chain on the highest gear possible, the largest on the crank, the smallest on the cassette, get into an aero position with the wind behind you and spin your legs like its going out of style…umeelewa sasa
Unawekelea jembe proper, tuck in your arms and spiiiiiiiiiin, add gravity and you will fly
Well you trust the mechanical aspects of your bike that they will hold and the brakes will work…then you pray going downhill nothing will obstruct the road and won`t get a puncture
