Thinking about the looming revolution in Kenya reminded me of some of the female revolutionaries of our era. Perhaps those of us aspiring for political office or who are female leaders could learn something from these lovely strong ladies thats not Bae or Msupa or those other attributes ,especially our Nairobi Women Reps love. Top up those Ive left out pls. Lets begin here at home. First off the 3 Kenyan women to vie for president. Hon.Ngilu -Masaa na Ngilu- first female presidential candidate during Moi era , Hon.Karua - the only human who dared walk off while Mo1 was making a speech, Prof.Wangari Maathai Nobel Lauriette -stopped Moi from grabbing Uhuru Park and Karura Forest among other public amenities and wetlands
Back in the day I had the hots for Ngilu. Alikuwa na ka-smile kengine cum-hither ka MSiM, wueh! Kuna time Moi kilim-tear gas around 1997, Ngilu akainua skirt akimbie picha ikatokelezea.
Let’s just say I needed protein supplementation for a week…hata spinal fluid ilikuwa imeisha!
