I am that kind of person whom doesn’t go with the recognised brands but the specs of a phone. I remember purchasing my Wiko Getaway some years back and it was the top model under Wiko phones and it still serves me today.

Katika pilka pilka zangu pale Jumia, I came across this phone Fero Royale X2 and it’s specs, if not exaggerated, I would love to go for it.

As much as you are not a brand person, stick with the mainstream. First of all check the phones company website uone kama wanajielewa. Meaning updates on firmware , cloud account. Kuna rafiki yangu alibuy sijui dogee Ama bluboo… Have never seen such a useless contraption. But if you just want to make calls and receive text then knock yourself out

I bought a smaller version for my mom and it serves her well. About phone updates, my Wiko Getaway never got any updates since I bought it.

Depends on what’s you want it for. Your mum is unlikey to play ‘need for speed’ on the phone. Maybe candy crush. I would NEVER have a phone that does not do updates.Thats will just be a handset

Then as from this year tafuta phone ina aspect ratio ya 18:9,
Tafuta fast charge,
Tafuta phone ina Gyroscope
But naona they got somethings right, USB type C, RAM iko sawa and the 4g frequencies will work here na it comes with android 7.0 out of the box

This is what I nowadays look for in a phone, not that ill purchase every phone with this but, this is the future of smartphones. If it aint bezel-less, no touching

If it fits wear it. Make sure you have good ram and sufficient battery power. And 4g. And a good processor.

From there, you’ll be fine.

If you’re a buff like deo and nyapdragon, then you may want to consider the factors they speak of.

Some of these Chinese brands huwezi ziamini sana u have to actually hold it and test it hio camera wanaeza kwambia ni 16mp lkn ukiangalia ikae kama 3mp… Alafu pia the feel na phone yenyewe ata quality ya kioo . like Dongee phones niliskia iko na screen poa lkn nyepesi ata kufinya kidogo tu inapasuka…

Nokia 6 has a bigger screen and a bigger CPU but same battery as Nokia 5 which means battery inateremsha haraka than 5.
I don’ kwa kwanini wamaziweka battery same zote hadi Nokia 8 iko na battery ya sijui 3300mAh na vile nikubwa .
