FILING KRA RETURNS

Someone told me that all kenyans should file NIL returns as long as they have a KRA pin and hawana income … is this a MUST ?
Nilikaa miaka mingi bila kufanya hio ujinga and nothing happened ! Nitakujiwa later in life or what ?

You owe the idiots 20K for every year you did not file in fines.

Sikufile last year and now i cant file NiL return

wewe ngoja watakuja tu !

Correction ,that a company penalty . personal ni 1k.

You need to file from 2016 - 2018 ndio ukue up to date. For the time being, no one will come for you but the day utaitishwa TCC. You’ll have to clear all the debt.

Kama yangu since 1st jan 2018 sijafill…penalty individual fee ni how much

Filing if yearly and we are currently filing for yr 2018, so hauna penalty if you file in time. Haya masamo KRA offices does for free, they have free seminars you just need to check with them

Mnaongea about NIL RETURNS , right ?

personal penalty is 20k. 1k was three years ago

Then soo many people will be penalised … tuko wengi bana

but kila mmoja atalipa kivyake :D:D:D:D

@Okiya ulipona kichwa?

Yet only 3 million people filed last year. Considering there were 18 million voters na bado all adults are not voting so less than 15% of adults are filing tax.

Alafu, the majority of those who don’t pay are the ones who decide the vote, then unaskia mtu akisema one man one vote, we need to rethink this idea of democracy.

If you file nil returns and payed taxes e.g. PAYE,you will have to amend the form…Failure to do so will results in additional assessments for you by KRA in the future…

Its 2k

Personal penalty is 20k my fren

Labda kwa ARA (Arab Revenue Authority)

As from 2015 failure to file returns attracts a penalty. In 2015 penalty was 1k, but nowadays the penalty is 20k. To file for 2018, the system will first prompt you to file for the years you had missed after which a penalty will be calculated for each year you failed to file.
