Chelsea new favourites for James?
Chelsea have moved into pole position to sign Real Madrid’s wantaway star James Rodriguez, according to reports in Spain.
AS.com claim that Antonio Conte is happy to offload both Diego Costa AND Cesc Fabregas this summer, and wanted Alvaro Morata and James as replacements.
Morata is on his way to Manchester United, but Conte is confident he can land James. With Real needing to fund a mega-money move for Kylian Mbappe, The Blues are apparently closing in on the Colombian.

Sigurdsson on Toffees’ radar
EVERTON will move for Gylfi Sigurdsson if Ross Barkley leaves, writes James Nursey.
Attacking midfielder Barkley, 23, is still stalling over a new contract amid interest from Spurs and Arsenal.
MirrorSport understands Goodison boss Ronald Koeman has identified Swansea’s Sigurdsson as his replacement.
Koeman, who is also chasing Ajax skipper Davy Klaassen, wants to bolster his attacking options with striker Romelu Lukaku set to quit for Chelsea.
Iceland international Sigurdsson, 27, scored nine goals and got 13 assists last term to help Swansea beat the drop.
Leicester also want him and are dangling big money but the star is keen on a switch to work with Koeman at Everton.

Buffon appears to confirm Wojciech Szczesnsy is on his way to Juventus
Gianluigi Buffon has revealed that Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szcesny is on his way to Juventus… and not just as back up to the legendary Italian.
Despite two years on loan at Roma, Szcesny is still an Arsenal player. However, Buffon is already talking about how the Pole will fit in at Juve.
“It’s right that Juve want Szczesny and that there is a good player like Donnarumma at the national team,” he said.
“For me, it will be a great motivation twice because, although I am 39-40 years, I have to maintain my place. If I no longer want to play, I’ll stay at home because Donnarumma and Szczesny are good goalkeepers by merit, not because someone gave them something.”
