France boss Didier Deschamps announced his Euro 2016 squad last night, which included 10 Premier League stars. Deschamps left out Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema as had already been decided some weeks ago due to his off-field problems. Mathieu Valbuena has also been left out but on purely footballing grounds: he’s simply spent too much time injured this season to justify a place. Manchester United’s Anthony Martial and Leicester N’Golo Kante make the cut.
Good squad especially the forward line and midfield. Defense not very convincing but ok. I still don’t understand how Moussa Sissoko of Newcastle was picked and he had a poor season at Newcastle. Schneiderlin should have gone in his place.
Yes i’m a huge fan but my brain still works well and facts speak for themselves. Sissoko is in this team only based on past performances despite him being single out as one of the flops of the season in relegated Newcastle. Hata kama si Schneiderlin kuna many central midfielders they could have picked roho safi i.e Geoffrey Kondogbia of Inter Milan.
I dont know about Giroud but i think he only gets selected because of his Godfather Wenger.But with Karim out with the case Didier is left with no option
Sissoko for Schneiderlin 100%correct.Hapo ukiangalia midfield wengi ni Center players.Sissoko can be rotated to the wings wakiwa na Matuidi with few problems.
France has a rich number of quality midfielders that i wonder why Sissoko. I’m sure Newcastle will struggle to offload him this summer. Let me see the other squads then place where France will be this Euro.
Sissoko is far much better.He is a good utility player and I bet he is going to combine well with Pogba to command that midfield.I see France as one of my favourites to lift the trophy though their Defence should not rely too much on Mangala. Mangala gets caught off guard frequently and this may be their Achilles heels.
Exactly, Sissoko has that kind of physique and as we have seen on numerous occasions, he can hold the ball, attack, take set pieces (though Payet is the prefered choice) and defend in equal measure.
Remy can’t even start in Chelsea, he is poor. Hata that Burkinabe kid is ahead of him in Chelsea’s strikers’ pecking order. Lacazette na Rabiot pia walikosa, I don’t know what Deschamps is planning.
Diarra got injured and has been dropped from the squad. This is probably his last call up to France team. In comes Schneiderlin, yes prayer answered. Now let await to see if he will play or not.
