hundred of thousands are demonstrating over diesel tax. uku Kenya fake middle class which could not sustain deacons in business, which could not sustain direct flights to us, wanajifanya hawaezi ingia street kutetea rights. Kenyan middle class (fake) must wake up

kenyans are bargain hunters by nature…kuna duka hapa embu juzi niliingia nikaambiwa shirt 7k. the same shirt naivas ni 1400. nitaenda hizo super zingine kuona kama there’s a better price. i am also counting how many days before that shop closes for lack of sales.

Mwingine woolen trousers alitaka kuniuzia 12k …and I wasn’t even buying for an event …Nguo zangu zote zilikuwa chafu n I needed to be somewhere at 11am.

Nilitia akili nikatafuta options

in biz small margins high Volume wins. 7k is a lot of money na wanauza vitu si premium

12k trao na uko located mahali watu ordinarily hubuy such priced stuff hawawezi tokea ordinarily

2 months ago na Niko sure that mhindi bado anayo

@sani wewe huongea upuzi most times lakini hapa niko nyuma yako…

Reke mooke.

My brother @sani your observation is on point. The kenyan middle class erroneously identifies itself along economic lines, a slavish and narrow criterion if you ask me. In countries like France, the middle class is not just a reflection of economic resources or wealth but also includes culture and even credentials, in other words your bank account, your resume( education and occupation) and finally your attitudes and mindset should define your social standing …that way the group becomes a movement…a movement that can, If need be, fight or correct economic exploitation. You won’t find that in kenya where we willingly buy overpriced houses, overpriced education and generally everything else as a form of acquiring the middle class badge. They will happily buy that fuel for identity.
