A drastic improvement of
the girl child performance
has been noted in the
various schools Ghetto
Radio has been distributing
free sanitary pads since the
beginning of the year.
This improvement was
revealed when Ghetto Radio
crew visited Kawangware
Primary School and Kangami
Primary school in its third
and last phase of sanitary
pads distribution.
Both the teachers and the
girls stated that the free
sanitary pads had helped
the girls not miss classes
hence the improvement in
performance.
Kawangware Primary School
Seniour teacher Mrs. Olga
Nyakongo girls in her school
are currently competing
fairly with their male
counterparts.
Melvin Vienda of Kangemi
Primary School also thanked
Ghetto Radio crew for their
support and ensuring that
they stay in school.
