I forgot to take the mbica of the three coaxial and the untidy ukarabati am using for now

Hapo umeenjoiwa vibaya sana. Nenda Luthuli na hiyo mbisha.

Dish size? STB?

Some more updates, we have two dish which we are sharing several house holds. Am being told that if the DiSEqC switch is connected other users will be affected, everybody has their own decoreder

The decorder is called FREESAT, attached is a sketch to the scenario

@Meria Mata @Luther12 Bado solution sijapata, am told that the DiSEqC switch cant work unless the dish was for use by me only

Ukifika home weka mbisha tuweze kukusaidia

Hukuwa umesema hivyo. If the dish is shared amongst several households each with their own STB, multi switch it is.

Is it so expensive as he put it? i think 40k and not readily available?

I’m not sure if the prices but I’m sure a quick online search can sort that. Availability may be an issue considering the kienyeji way most installations are done- eti ukitaka kubadilisha channel unapigia caretaker simu.

Now i get it, the nearest solution closer home is this - Anyway i will try souce it from elsewhere. But just wondering is the DSTV one similar to what am looking for?

In some hotel rooms, the different TV channels are set to different DSTV channels. How does this setup work? Does the hotel need multiple decoders?

There’s a way it’s done and it’s highly technical job. Diagrams can be availed if needed. It’s done such that each room has its own decoder to select their own channels independent of their neighbors, incorporating both satellite and terrestrial channels.

So the hotel has to pay for all those DSTv accounts?
