Who in this age of cheap smartphones takes them for repair.
Simu tu ikianza upuss tupa nunua ingine instead of wasting money on a fundi and after days/weeks/months of hide and seek with the fundi you will be back to square one buying another phone.
Cost of money+time wasted+ heartache=not worth it.

I went to fix the outer case ya my mulika mwizi in 2015 nikaambiwa na mmoja luthuli Avenue " buda watu wamesonga na masimu za power , utawachana na hii kabambe lini? Kuna hili simu ya techno hapa. Nunua . " Nilikataa but I felt humiliated .

I bought mama watoto Samsung S6 (I think. It was the in thing then) went with her to have her Sim card reduced to the small size to the same guy. I don't like changing fundis. Hako kashetani said again loud" Buda ile kabambe ilikufa?Baado nakuwekea ile techno" . I told him " Unanisumbua" that's how I left that kabambe for a better phone but still kabambe with good features . I don't do smart phones .it's too much

This happened in Nkubu town, now, I had taken a power bank to this phone Fundi for some soldering which took the better part of the day. I saw many peasants bring in their phones ati oh its not receiving sms, oh the sound is low oh the screen light is very low. The solution for all the problems was "the phone requires to flashed"! Cost sh 500. All the guy did was resetting the phone.
