Gadget

i acquired a small gadget i got from online shops and fitted on a 2003 corolla. The effects i have noted is a lighter accelerator pedal, faster and smooth gear change from gear 1 to 2, have also noticed lower revolutions compared to earlier. Mileage on car over 200,000 km. Placebo or what?

looks like one of those scammy antiradiation thingamajigs we used to attach to our phones circa 2001…

…maybe it is…maybe its psychological…its all in the mind… the good thing is that its very cheap…less than 300.

…i remember that anti radiation mesh we used to stick around the ear piece. had one on my motorolla t190

that’s how good scams work. it means you don’t give it a serious thought and that way they snare millions…

…its interesting

How does itit work exactly ?

…its has a small chip which they say that it monitors your driving habits and then alter the ECU according to your driving habits to increase torque and power. you insert it on the obd2 port press reset button and you are good to go…sounds to good to be true?

If it was that cheap and easy to implement, don’t you think vehicle manufacturers would have used it a long time ago?

…maybe …but remember, vehicle manufacturers are in business. They keep on adding a small feature or a modification and then advertise that model and it sells in million units and then produces another model and does the same.
Some features we came to find in 2000 japanese cars were already there in early 90s german cars.

Do you know in 80s, honda produced a honda civic that was too fuel efficient, but it was discontinued…by doing that u will have all that matters yet they want to remain in business. i think it was using a gas vaporizer mechanism in its fuel system therefore achieving i guess over triple of what we get today…dont discredit everything as hoax…give them a try yourself and have a clear answer based on experience and not imagination

that word placebo was the first thing I thought in this hekaya

…am from a thorough road test…despite how much i want to be convinced that it has a placebo effect, there id real effect…great acceleration on very slight placing of the foot on the pedal…mode of action am not so sure…but for sure there is some positive effects interms of greater picking…

maybe it only works on old cars whose parts are clogged due to long use…maybe no effect on newer cars
