Insuarance company is selling it off. It runs and drives. Only issue is a screeching sound
Asking 630k
enda na diagnostic technician kama uko serious nayo aichape diagnosis chap chap ujue shida haswa ni nini, 630k ni bargain lakini unaeza kua umeangukiwa pia
I would first try to establish with certainty where the sound is coming from and how much it would cost to fix. Sometimes these vehicles have ridiculously priced spare parts. I am sure you would not want to spend another 300k on a steering system.
Its good. This is s class luxury vehicle so refurbishing might be a bit expensive. The body looks untouched, but you will have to repaint it for better look. Gari ni body na chassis. Everything else is easily replaceable. Screeching sound when revving is from worn bearings running engine belts/chains. If from wheels, bearings are worn. lakini mi nadhani hiyo bei si mbaya for such a straight looking vehicle if there is nothing fishy behind the deal.
beba a good mechanic mwaambie aangalie belts kama ziko na enough tension…could be an easy fix if that…maybe a bearing has gone in one of the pulleys…kama kelele inatoka from the transmission area ningeachana na hiyo gari…
If the insurance company is selling it then they must have compared cost of repairing it wakaona it’s not viable…Huyu broker anauza lazma akuwe ameweka markup ya 100% on that price meaning be bought for less than 1/2 that…there is never a minor issue with a German…buy of you want to keep…not for resale purposes coz you will never get a buyer…then that could be a 3200cc petrol engine itakuwa your weekend ride you can’t possibly use it for everyday ride…comprehensive insurance will be high also so itabidi third party ukipata accident parts sio cheap or readily available…if you are cool with all that then go with a mech who can do diagnostics on Mercedes with a computer so that you know if there are sensors missing…gari ziko Kwa yard huibiwi many parts…then buy and join Mercedes Benz Enthusiasts group on FB for advice and support
unless you hav a connection never buy a salvage.after all the hustle it amounts to the same value of a nice moving car.not unless we ni mech na uko na yard ya kuswap parts
