I have commissioned a Renal Dialysis Unit at Gatundu Level 5 hospital and a modern CT Scan block at Thika Level 5 hospital so that our people can access quality health services in Kiambu County. One only needs to be registered with NHIF. The renal unit has a 16 bed capacity. Meaning 16 patients can be attended to per session. This will reduce the number of patients who visit Thika Level 5 for renal dialysis. I will also ensure another unit is established at Kiambu Level 5 hospital soon. My government will continue investing in healthcare as enshrined in the national Government’s Big 4 Agenda.
