Government tenders

Hello Ktalkers
I have this small shop of hardware in coast, mostly specialised is bolts and nuts.
I’m in interested in involving myself is government projects like kplc, water companies, road projects.
Though I’ve been receiving so much negative comments, like delays in payments, wrong tenders, bribery.
I’m mostly trying with kplc but they seem to give no eyes or ears to me.
They all come to give and take, ’ give me some on my hand and i give you an order’.
What should i do? Any leads?

deal with kplc their payment is streamlined na they have money 2 pay si kama ministries wanangojea exchequer

IFMIS = CHIETH

But pia wao hudelay …speaking from experience

kwanza lipa ushuru and get a tax compliance certificate.

No one is prepared to give you a tender(money) without consideration. Know that.

Quick question…what about delayed payments?? Mtu akupee tender saa hii alafu akulipe after one year amekusaidia aje??

Delays huja wakati maybe documentation yako ina shida but if you toe the line all else huisha haraka, someone always needs the cash. Sad but that’s what my little experience has revealed.

@Etigere Enyewe your experience is little…o_O

Didn’t i just say that! Ama am having deja vu

Waiting for you to get my sarcasm…

Sorry but i dont get your message?

If you have experience, plz give me some leads on where should i go in coast. As everyone is giving me deaf ears.

Mi nangoja payment from one broke government department since October last year. Regret taking up that job.

I mean they pay on the shit of a system called IFMIS which for lack of a stronger term is just PUPU aka CHIETH!!!
