That is one of the reasons why soccer will never become big in America. Marketers and sports investors there prefer sports where you can interrupt the game every so often and insert adverts. Not so with soccer.
The audience for football is growing in the US. Though it might never surpass the popularity of eggball, basketball and baseball in the near future.
