GUN LAWS

What is the logic behind gun ownership being open to all? Is it a civil liberty? The right to protect oneself? And does making guns so easily accessible and easy to own actually deter crime? This is a big problem! I watched a documentary called Requiem for Americas dead and the stats on gun related deaths is just crazy. Its higher than even road accidents. Sure glad Kenya is a ‘gunless’ society bcz if the deaths of cops and their victims is anything to go by, what would be happening if you could just go to River Road and buy a gun? Infact guns in US are so kawaida, that I saw an ad of buy a diamond engagement ring for your gf and get a gun free. See the shocking story of kids shooting each other below.

Investigators will meet with prosecutors to determine whether or not a crime was committed after two 3-year-olds were shot and injured by another toddler in Michigan, police said.

The Associated Press said the Wednesday morning shooting took place at a home day care facility in Dearborn, about 10 miles outside of Detroit.

Dearbon police said “a preliminary investigation revealed a toddler in the home accessed a handgun and the weapon discharged.”

Police said today that both victims are in the hospital listed in serious but stable condition.

Police said today interviews have been conducted with all parties involved, and investigators will meet with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office to see if charges will be filed.

According to Everytown for Gun Safety, there have been at least 215 unintentional shootings by children this year.

Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said, "This is a tragedy that affects the entire community and we wish the best for them.

Kama hatujali juu ya story zako za huku, unaona kama tutajali story zako za majuu?

I think the 2nd amendment makes it broad but people choose guns as the most ideal weapon for self defense… mimi i have triggered crossbow, NV gas mask, combat outdoor survival kits(MRE’s, pancho etc), Czech combat helmet, Samurai sword, military grade camelbak hydration vest, sniper suit, taser gun and a couple of knives… and i just walked to a store and got all these…

Uliiba sio?

It depends on who you want to listen to. For example your numbers are totally wrong. It is also rather pretensions for people who do not value guns as a fundamental right to judge whether it’s right or wrong to have a gun.

  • In 2014, 32,675 people were killed in 29,989 crashes, an average of 96 per day.

  • in 2013, 33,636 deaths due to “injury by firearms” (10.6 deaths per 100,000 U.S. citizens). These deaths consisted of 11,208 homicides, 21,175 suicides, 505 deaths due to accidental or negligent discharge of a firearm, and 281 deaths due to firearms use with “undetermined intent”

What’s your problem? If you don’t like story zangu, just move along.Threads ni mob huku. Nobody is holding a gun2your head2jali my stories.Take your bitchy ass out of my threads! B4 I block you!

Wah! Do you feel safer? I think living in Kenya I feel safe. When I lived at the Coast I lived in a house with no gate,no fence,no window or door burglar proof, alone and sometimes my neighbors would be away and am very far from the nearest neighbors. Yet I’d sleep like a baby. I just feel safe, like si God is looking out4me? Anyway, even if you have a bazooka and thugs catch you off guard, much good they’ll do you.

If you’re driving under the influence and then you have an accident,is that an accident or a suicide? Having a gun makes it easier to commit suicide by shooting yourself.

Haha… ebu enda ujaribu kuiba gun store… hii hapa si carree-kenya

Actually its not about safety for me… just the thrill and excitement of having these and also the fact that i’m more of a prepper… I always feel there is an apocalypse on the way and only then will i feel safe with what i’ve got… sahi haiwezi nisaidia… maybe the knives… Besides si ati tunakulanga teargas huku everyday ndio hiyo gas mask isaidie lol…

Mostly illegal stuff.

@GeorginaMakena . Most adults without a conviction have a right to bear a firearm. Some states require a license. There are very few houses in the US with burglar proof. In fact most homes don’t have a fence. They are only fenced off in the backyard. Remember that there is a person behind the trigger. So don’t blame the gun. I do agree that stricter controls are needed. However they are a huge deterrent to crime. Burglars think 10 times before entering a property because you are allowed to eliminate once he steps into your house. Also thugs stay away from common people for the same reason. No @pamba needed.

Hehe… ok…

Morning Makena, can I take you out to town this Friday we catch a sniff of tear gas together.
