i suggested a mash-up of Nobody, Equalizer, and John Wick. well, I got an all Girls/women’s team.
the action is almost similar to the individual boys/men movies, where they all kick-ass and not just one at a time, but several (over 10) and they all come out alive. (almost all)
its not that bad, but if you believe one woman or women can kick a man let alone several men, then don’t bother watching.
my worry or question is why all the female lead action movies all involve females fighting with men. rarely will you see men action movies with the men fighting females. can’t we have female action movies/series with women fighting women?
the likes of Wonderwoman, Resident evil, underground, Electra, Alita, supergirl, batwoman, … all involve females mostly fighting men. is it that there aren’t enough good female actors for both roles, are they trying to show that only/mostly men are evildoers/criminals, are they pushing the women vs men narrative, are they trying to empower women by showing them they can beat and defeat men, or are they afraid that an all-women movie (heroes and villains) won’t be enjoyable and a flop?
