HARDDISK BITCHING AROUND

I jus turned on my laptop and was greeted with a ‘‘no boot device detected press a button to reboot’’ and after rebooting nothing happens… In BIOS the primary hard drive reads as zero yet its 750GB,what can the problem be?

ouch

first things first , remove the HD and try and back it up somewhere else using an external HD reader (SATA , IDE or solid state ? ), thank me later

I have the same problem with a hp shit

The hard disk may be loose in case of a fall. Just open the case and confirm whether it is tightly secured.

Boss, as guided hapo juu , note that a failing harddrive can become a failed drive at any moment. Insofar as is possible, while the drive is still functioning, copy the important files to another hard drive or an optical disc. My rule of thumb, if possible copy them into two separate external drives so that if a file is corrupt in one, it could be fine in another.

Ni hayo tu kwa sasa. I learned it the hardway, hope this helps.
