HELP Corrupt 1TB Toshiba Drive

My high school bro messed up my HDD. Sijui alifanya nini. HDD haishow anything, just a driver letter kwa my computer but i cannot see it…Ina sema ati ni RAW file System na for windows to use it, ni lazima ikue NTFS. How do i convert in to NTFS without formating it.

Kama gugu na yutubu zimeshindwa … hapa hutasaidiwa!!!

RAW means your HDD does not have a partitioning scheme and/or filesystem that your OS understands. Try using chkdsk utility. If that fails (99.99% sure it will fail) then try UBCD to see if you’ll recover anything from the HDD. In the meantime, prepare yourself psychologically for the very likely outcome of you losing everything you had stored on that drive.

I don’t think you can convert RAW to NTFS without creating a partition table which in itself is a type of formatting.

there is a workaround if its not a hardware fault but from what he/she has said, it just sounds like a case of corrupt MBR or MFT, needs to get a data recovery tool and run a deep scan

You have NO option but to activate its partition which means you have to format the damn disk. Next time keep your stuff from high school kids. They are eager to learn and explore.

all corruption cases should be reported to EACC

@Deorro unakaa kujua venue zorin itafanya hii kazi

aanze na solution rahisi rahisi like scanning the drive(na sio with AV)
ama check it with akina Minitool partition kama bado vitu zinaexist
