its been like 6months since i quit alcohol.I remember i had always tried doing it by myself bt i kept relapsing,around that time one of my friend told me she knew some friend (a ugandan ) who had helped his dad a chronic alcoholic quit without rehab.thought it was just a hoax so i never gave much thought to it…Eventually after trying several methods to no success i decided to give it a try it .linked with the guy who after consultation he agreed to come to Nbi from Busia in a 2 wks time…
So prior to that he asked me to buy alcohol(preferred type) and not to eat anything that morning he would administer the treatment.When he came he poured the entire alcohol on a glass and mixed it with some stuff that looked like crushed herbs ,mixed well and asked me to drink in 2 gulps which i did…funny thing is i felt nothing ,(steam hazikupanda) its like i had drank a glass of water.normally when i drink i would want more bt on this occasion i didnt feel this urge…a day later i didnt feel the urge to drink at all for the first time in years,it was like a miracle,After like 2 days i decided to drink again(out of curiosity) to see really if it was working.I was in a club and ordered a 250ml smirnoff bottle ,i remember i drank half of it and i was not getting the ‘high’ and it just felt disgusting i had to stop drinking and went home…its been almost 5mnths since that day and i havent touched alcohol …I have tried to ask the guy what it is but the guy has completely kept it a secret,research from google has proved futile too…i am guessing its a local herb from UG since her wife is a herbalist for some firm back there…Am trying to find out if anybody has knowledge about it here? Am also guessin its used in production of naltrexone
