A shade to me sounds like a luxury they can do without. The pedestrian crossings he's referring to are way shorter than this bridge. I'm not an engineer but I imagine a shade will add unnecessary weight, expenses and other complications. Remember this is not a fixed bridge, the middle points float to allow ships to pass. Alafu kwani hiyo bridge tu ndio ina joto? Nyali bridge imetumika miaka na sijaskia mtu amekufa juu ya heatstroke.
