Yeah I came on that video some few weeks ago and the urge to own a home cinema has never been stronger than before. That laser projector is bananas, but I’d prefer an 85 inch OLED 8k TV. The sound system is the most perfect, It’s my dream sound system and three years down the line I’ll have purchased it. I looked up the Klipsch speakers and the AVR and the total cost comes to $10000. Shits it’s so amazing, especially the ceiling speakers.

Bonobos killing eardrums

Yea that Denon receiver plus that 13.2 speaker setup are the highlights for me. Also how they take sound proofing & acoustics very seriously in measuring & laser matching each speaker angle.

Upuss

Haha really ? just do it on regulated volume.

With this set up i remain a bachelor forever

Hii lazma nitengeneze

You can barely tell the difference with your eyes between a full HD video on YouTube versus the 4k version of it.

There are so many factors that come into play here. The cinematography, the cinematographer involved, the lighting, the camera used etc.

Far away from the point, a 4k video is discernible if watched on the right screen.

Hakuna. Huwezi ona. Not even on a very expensive cine monitor. Kuna kitu inaitwa bit rates. A kshs. 400k HD news camera can produce a far better image than a 4k camera phone. That’s why it costs 400k because sample rate yake ni mwenda wazimu. Inashika gigabytes per second na ka simu ni megabytes per second for storage purposes on your phone.

Similarly unaweza wekewa footage shot by a Hollywood pro with cine lighting shot with a very cheap phone VERSUS a hollywood grade camera and you won’t tell the difference. Hii kitu sio outright.

Kitu unafaa uelewe ni kwamba movies or music videos are rarely shot with one type of camera. Action scenes may even be shot with a go pro na hio footage itumiwe kwa final edit and you will never know.

The main dialogue scenes may be shot with a very expensive cine camera with seriously expensive lenses. But they will cut the HD go pro footage with that of a Red or Arri na huwezi jua tofauti. Hata kwa big screen.

Halafu sasa there is something called lighting. Hio sasa ndio mambo yote. Sio camera.

And remember the final edit ya movie ama music video sio the original sweet image. It is highly compressed and degraded ndio itoshee kwa dvd ama stream.

Ukapewa the original raw 4k movie footage you would need several terabyte harddisks just for one movie. Na hakuna player inaweza cheza hio footage.

So there are so many factors at play here when you say that a screen is 4K. Really? Your eyes also adjust to watch a bad image and fool your brain to accept that it is great.

What are you talking about? Am talking about your first claims where you said there is no difference between a HD vid and a 4K video.
