Honda Civic VS Mazda Axela

Honda is a brand known for its innovativeness especially with their engines. However, Mazda’s track record isn’t that bad either. So how well does the 2009 1.8 ltr Civic (manual transmission) stack up against Mazda’s Axela in terms of reliability, fuel consumption, maintenance, creature comfort and resale value.

Hapa nakubali…Toyota’s make up for their unsightliness with eternal value

Those two cars are very similar. It all goes down to preference.

Why do people consider resale value? When you buy a car, do you intend to sell it immediately or you buy it for leisure?

Most Toyota fanatics buy them just for the resale part of it, ndio unapata gari inakaa boflo, na ni hot cake, lakini bei…wueh! wacha tu…

Kwanza, hio jina “motor addict” na resale value haziingiani.
Reliability depends on frequency of service and how you take care of the engine, just as the manufacturer suggests.

To me, resale value should only be your concern if you are planning to start a car hire, taxi or second hand car bazaar business.

Fuel consumption: when you get a car, fuel is unlikely to be your biggest running cost, unless ni 1,000cc. Any engine with less than 2,000 cc displacement is affordable to run by most midru class.

My bias is with the Honda because of their reputation of reliable engines.

This brings up another debate…first, congrats on the incoming ride. Now tell us from your research what made you settle on import instead of local dealers…i know it’s much cheaper but put in the 66.25% ya mfuko ya UK…port, agent clearance na hongo(haikosi)…the list is endless…tell us

Axela any time of the day
