Thank you for sharing this. My husband and I decided to renovate our house. I want a new kitchen, and I was thinking about something more urban with concrete floors. But after I’ve seen this post I decided that the most hygienic and healthiest solution will be a clay tile or rough ceramic tile. On other floorings, the liquids will be absorbed, and it will be hard to clean those floors properly. We also decided to do raised floorings from the Netfloor USA. They say that any type of floorings can be installed on raised floors. But I think that I need to specify that we will do clay or ceramic tiles instead of concrete.

Could you tell me more about raised flooring? How much did you pay for them? The floors in my house are a bit crocked, and I don’t know how to solve this issue. The contractor asked for his job a lot of money. It is easier to buy a new house.
