I was just thinking why does Judiciary interviews one candidate per day instead of say two or three till i realized they are paid a sitting allowances of ksh 40,000 for every sitting. This means 10 days of sittings for the interviews of 10 candidates at a cost of ksh 40000 allowance paid for each JSC member per day translates to ksh 400,000 at the end of interviewing process .
