Wadau njooni mnisaidie hapa. I have been having this tussle for a long time with my other half about the number of times i am supposed to shower/ bathe in a day. The problem with me is that i have a excessive obsession with water. Every time i am in the house especially on weekends, i am always rushing to the shower after any slight activity. A case in example is Saturday last week. I woke up at 6.30am and took a shower. I spent the whole day in the house and participated in light duties in the house. After every exercise i had to take a shower. I took seven showers for that particular day. Every time before going to bed i must shower. My wife and kids have been complaining that i overdo it. Is it a problem? How can i curb it if so?
Twice a day is good especially on hot days. When one wakes in the morn and when one comes home/before bed.

You might be coming down with an OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) .most people are on denial when they have it. A shrink might help you.

i have to tell you these fellows are not the standard for cleanliness…in the hygiene section of a colonial era science textbook, the venerated mzungus had written that “Washing your body twice in a week is good but once a week is quite enough”
i guess the author did not factor in the fact that people go into communion with their partners daily and i cannot countenance a situation where one ventures abroad with the details unwashed after communion…
