I think the billing system for residences is calibrated differently i.e it is progressive. The more you consume, the higher the unit cost. This is meant to discourage power wastage and conserve natural resources from which this power is generated. This is the only case I know where peasants win. The cost per unit that @Deorro pays is not the same as Kabogos.
In total 10k on all my businesses. It used to be 30k before niweke solar

A friend lives in a 3brm bungalow with automatic lights that light 11hrs at the gate and arcs of the house. Enough electronics and gadgets for 3 adults and children and pedrollo to pump water overhead tank once a week. Total prepaid 3k.
