how often do you replace your hard drives?

Zangu huwa for medi use and i replace after 2 years. And normally go for Toshiba drives. WD and Seagate huwa sikaribii.

Never. I’ve never had an HDD fail on me naturally. Usually it’s a dropped external drive that fails.

You can safely empty it. But it’s mostly due to the software you run. Or you’ve been using your PC for a loong time without deleting it.

I occasionally empty it and also clear Windows logs just for the sake of it.

just delete the contents, its a scratch pad for pretty much every app

And one thing I painfuly learned a longtime ago never buy a refurbished or used hdd.

Si naonanga SSD’s have a shorter life than HDD’s
