i think the only places in kenya that need programmers are of the scale where they have a regional head office elsewhere in the region, hizo company ni ngapi kenya ?
programmers are creatives. si lazima apewe job but content yake itamlipa. only problem is the institutions which don’t make them productive. wao hupitia course outline only to get out here stranded.
Kindly share some of those benefits. I am an upcoming developer specializing in backend technologies and I would really appreciate some insight on how I can use my skills kunukisha kitunguu
programmers tafadhali ekeni samples zenu hapa tuone - your application screenshots hata kama ni mbili…hii kizungu mingi tuache tafadhali
-sijaongea mambo ya shule hapa everyone and their dog knows they are zombie factories… jibu swali uliloulizwa with efidens to back it up.
@JohnieD in my life, I have heard a bouncer criticise the linux kernel. I have heard of a hair-dresser who has written a firewall using CSS. I have heard of a journalist who thinks She can lecture programmers about success and failures in code…
its just like any other skill, to gain you need to build yourself up, gain experience then you profit from that experience - you will never gain much from technical skills, its your experience / or in some cases your connections that matters most.
connections bila technical skills huwexinukisha kitunguu kwa programming. utapataje experience kwa comp. sci. bila technical skills? How can you connect a dump apate job
in programming. Hiyo ni mambo ya sales na health records my friend.
I know everyone knows what they must do to be successful in any industry. Problem is that nobody is willing to put in the 1000 hours needed. Watu wanataka kukimbilia aim global na greenscape because of laziness. Do 100 hours of programming and you will surely gain income from it in the end.
how many people in this thread are actually professional/WORKING [programmers] ??? sounds like recent jobless graduates/students/hobbyist/dreamers or working in a different field -if you are a pro weka sample zako hapa otherwise STFU
–stop posting general comments & clichés , kama umepata kazi kwa hii field(programming) kindly share some valuable insights/facts tusaidike…
i agree connections and business skills are VERY important if you are going to make money in this part of the world- tafuta github ya mwenye seven seas ama jambo pay. --hawa watu wanathani huku ni palo alto blarry fools…
-on technical skills
kama unajua basics za language na one or two frameworks/libraries/whatever you call it- that is all you need+google -we all know utakua unajenga database apps-> form-logic-database-reports(ive simplified it) for clients 99% of the time hii kizungu mingi ya cs/it hutatumia africa/kenya unless you are building stuff for your own amusement …just my two cents.
