Private sector jobs wameanza kuwa like the government, requesting for this certificates. I have the CID one but hii ya KRA nitatoa wapi? Huduma Centre wanasema I go the KRA portal, enter my details and download from there but the ITAX page is defunct. Now what do I do?

I have always paid my taxes faithfully except when I was unemployed. I suspect niko na some money I owe KRA when I didn’t file. Thanks, KRA office on Monday.

If you have no income you file a nil return.
Just log in to your KRA Pin Account. Apply for TCC from there. If you know you havent filed return for any year(due to unemployment), file a nil return, pay the penalty and interest(It is Kshs 1,000-stand to be corrected) .The system will compute it.
It may take a day, or even a week. Kama una haraka you can visit their offices.
