This whole thing is totally overblown. After all, mercury is naturally occurring and ubiquitous in the environment. It’s found in fish, food coloring and corn sweeteners. I’m not totally rubbishing health concerns or that mercury is a good thing but you’ve already consumed it at some point.
Studies show magnesium and selenium protect against damage from mercury and may help eliminate the metal. So if you’re still worried, eat the following foods: avocados, nuts, whole grains and dark chocolate.
