How was Africa before colonization?

Were we fighting and hating each other?
Was there boundaries?
Were we corrupt?
Did we live with wild animals in harmony?
How would Africa be today without external influences of religion and policies?

still the same ol’ same ol’d skin-wearing, hunter-gatherer elites.

Were we fighting and hating each other? [COLOR=rgb(44, 130, 201)]Yes eg luanda magere and the kalenjin warriors
Was there boundaries?[COLOR=rgb(41, 105, 176)] where they put armies is where there was boundaries. any soldier sleeping looses part of boundary
Were we corrupt?[COLOR=rgb(41, 105, 176)] if there was no unifying elements like money then there was no corruption
Did we live with wild animals in harmony? [COLOR=rgb(44, 130, 201)]no we were hunting those animals down, but now we do it in sophisticated ways and accuracy eg guns
How would Africa be today without external influences of religion and policies? [COLOR=rgb(44, 130, 201)]backward i guess, a place full of diseases. do you remember an island at the coast of India where there are black people living in an isolated forest? they had no clothes and in a jungle. most of them died of some funny diseases. Then that’s what we could have been . Everything has merits and demerits

[COLOR=rgb(97, 189, 109)]good example; if i was in those days with someone like @Motokubwa and @uwesmake as my neighbors , i would be visiting their wives often and infuse my wanga genes in them . since they have a ganglia instead of brain, they would never realize those kids aren’t theirs

@uwesmake would not give a damn even if the kids looked like John Garang!

1.We were beating the hell out of each other.
2 boundaries were there
3.Not as corrupt as we are presently
4.We hunted and gathered only for food and clothing, not for commercial purposes.
5.Like @Abba has replied up there

juu hakungekuwa na hospital hizo concoction zako zingekuwa zimeua wewe,he he he

There would have been no funny diseases brought about by the white man through sexual immorality and urban overpopulation. You wake up in the morning take car of your cattles and land ,jioni you chill with friends and usiku you ferk your tight non kunguru wife.Maisha London. There was be depression because life was much simpler. This would have been MadPhilosopher and his mates.

I can’t imagine life without a Coca-Cola.

There was no poverty and unemployment.

Were we fighting and hating each other? [COLOR=rgb(41, 105, 176)]YES , there were friendly tribes & rivals , fights were over resources , cattle rustling , slave trade etc etc

Was there boundaries? [COLOR=rgb(41, 105, 176)]kinda[COLOR=rgb(41, 105, 176)] - Tribes had few and separated unlike now so people knew where the maasai land started …and their lands ended …
Were we corrupt? [COLOR=rgb(41, 105, 176)]OFFCOURSE CORRUPTION EXISTED , it’s human nature

Did we live with wild animals in harmony? [COLOR=rgb(41, 105, 176)]Maasais do live with wild animals today , that’s a good indicator …some congo tribes domesticated elephants

How would Africa be today without external influences of religion and policies? [COLOR=rgb(41, 105, 176)] LIFE would have been easier and stress free , stresses would be diseases , conflicts from other AFRICAN tribes and not bearing sons

:D:D:D wewe ni mijinga . i skipped class 3 and went to class 4 because i was very smart. thought you should know

:D:D:D

It depends on the place in Africa, west, east, south? If i may say about corruption i dont think it was as its now, most of the leaders back then cared for their tribes men and wanted best for them and you didn’t have puppets put in charge by outside eliments and when there was it didnt last long for example when Songhai empire was conquered by Morocco they put in puppets but it was hard to manage that big land and Songhai empire collapsed fully. Without external influence Africa would be different,

Botswana is one of the countries that had the least influence from the west(was a protectorate) and they retained a lot of their tribal ruling costums like the Kgotla system which is why Botswana is deemned as one of the oldest democracy in the world. And they also combine their tribal leaders in government where they have The Ntlo ya Dikgosi (Tswana for “House of Chiefs”) whom advise the parlament. Botswana unlike its neighbouring countries which werw colonies found its mineral after independence which the have nationalized, imagine in so many countries where outside force supported coups and put in puppets so they could continue looting, like in Congo. Botswana its the least corrupt country in Africa and also one of few with least impact from colonialism, it differentiate from the rest of Africa alot, like its neighbouring countries Namibia, Zimbabwe and S.A and Botswana today has the highesf HDI in Africa after being the 2nd poorest country in the world when it got independence in 1966.

So to put it straight the best thing for Africa would have been to freely adopt western influences which are deemned as good instead of colonialism, it brought a nother level of trauma which Africa is still battling and countries like Botswana were more freely to make their own choices and develope peacefully without being colonized like its neighbouring countries and today the results are there, it could organise itself much easier than its neighbouring countries which were colonies when it got independence.

Halafu ukawachia hapo?

Indians developed infrastructure for Kenyans

The Kikuyu and the Maasai would occasionally steal cattle and women from each other other. Uhuru’s great granny was a maasai

There were no religious wars ,conflicts or divisions between the indigenous african tribes before Islam and Christianity were brought.

That funny disease is the common cold aka flu …
Their bodies hadn’t been exposed to the more modern day flu and hence they kaputed…and yes the twats that went to document them are the same twats that introduced this flu strain to them…
