Personally I avoid being out on such nights and I also take that time to also make my environment extra spiritual by playing worship music and also engaging in Christian practices. The reality is that Satan has no power in comparison to God. Whenever a Christian finds themselves in a satanic environment that is the time to be hyper vigilant and very prayerful. And strengthen your altar as they strengthen their own. I once lived in an apartment complex with a witch doctor who would perform rituals for customers at night. I’ve seen Halloween evolve from basic trick or treating where kids would go around the neighborhood getting candy. Back then it was quite innocuous. Well, a lot has changed over the years. If you tell people that you don’t celebrate Halloween, they might think lowly of you and call you a “holy roller christian.” Slowly you find yourself not fitting in to the wider culture. I believe a true Christian should not celebrate Halloween but many do.

Having a graveyard or something that looks like a graveyard in your backyard is demonic. Isn’t that like celebrating death? It isn’t a coincidence that witch doctors go to graveyards. Remembering the dead continually like on a yearly basis and praying for God to grant them eternal rest and let His light shine upon, is not biblical. It’s more occultic practice. If you are concerned that your loved one isn’t entering eternal rest and God’s light isn’t shining on them, it’ll take more than some pat declarations once a year. You will have to pray individually and fervently over a long period of time. Not one service after a year to perform some trite rituals. It does not work like that. Eternal destiny is not a light matter, if people pray for spouses or spouses for their children for years dedicatedly, you think praying for departed souls is a once a year service/declaration thing? Halloween is demonic by definition because it venerates death. Death was never part of God’s original and perfect will. You are right. Christ died but He also descended into hell and rose from the grave which proved that His total dominion over both. If death was normal no one would cry at funerals. Even animals mourn their dead, why, because all creation has a collective sense that it is an unnatural state. There are two deaths; physical and spiritual. Be careful that you are not rehearsing for eternal damnation by celebrating Halloween.

You eat food from all over the place that you don’t know who it’s been dedicated to.
