I am struggling with Christianity

Good people. My faith has been dwindling very fast lately. I have always had my doubts about my Christian faith, mguu moja iko ndani mguu moja iko nje. I generally find most Christian beliefs very absurd and some are plain stupid; from creation to Jesus. What if Jesus was just in his 20s chilling, then one day he started preaching and proclaiming himself to be The One, then a few people laughed and others believed and now we are here. (The same concept as anyone here can just start ranting and campaigning and be elected in a political office).
I also don't understand how we are God's children (made in His image), and if you do good God loves you na ukikosa God will let you burn in eternal hell where you will burn slowly, piece by piece until you die. It doesnt make much sense. Think about it, would you burn your own child for any mistake, mtoto wako?? :D

So according to my Christian beliefs i will not go to heaven because i qualify...Or I have done good deeds...But because I have put my faith in Jesus who qualified and lived a righteous life. In my Christian life i have failed many times ,lusted after women, cheated, be angry...But you know what....my faith is not on myself or my holiness or righteousness ..But on Christ ...a....that is how I know I will get to heaven ..because I have accepted the forgiveness of sin and the sacrifice Christ made for me

Romans 13.1 contradicts Article 2 (1) of the constitution of Kenya.
Romans 13:1 New International Version (NIV)
Submission to Governing Authorities
13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

(1) All sovereign power belongs to the people of Kenya and shall be exercised only in accordance with this Constitution.
(2) The people may exercise their sovereign power either directly or through their democratically elected representatives.

:D:D:D:D I give up...
Meanwhile you can as well read more of it...
(3) Sovereign power under this Constitution is delegated to the following State organs, which shall perform their functions in accordance with this Constitution --
(a) Parliament and the legislative assemblies in the county governments;
(b) the national executive and the executive structures in the county governments; and

(c) the Judiciary and independent tribunals.
(4) The sovereign power of the people is exercised at --

(a) the national level; and

(b) the county level.

The bible records that God referred to David as a man after his own heart yet David was an adulterer and murdered as he killed Uriah and committed adultery with his wife...why would God call such a man a man after his own heart...because David was a man of repentant heart who acknowledged he was indeed a sinner and sought for forgiveness from God
forgiveness means a Clean slate in the aftermath.... Why Did God have to kill the child they begot afterwards even after repenting???... Am sure moses asked for forgiveness from God after breaking the tablets but then what?... his body was never found when he died...

this whole christian believe is entangled in distrust and doubts.
personally if i were to cast a piece of my mind then i would say repenting of any sin whatsoever secures you a place in heaven but malipo yako hapa duniani are in set

Just because God forgives you sins...it does not meant you won't face the consequences of sin. If a murdered acknowledge and repent of his sin...God will forgive him but he will still face the consequences of his sin ...Which is imprisonment here on earth ..

The essence of article 2 is that no one is above the constitution. Not even those in authority . On the other hand Romans tells us to obey those in authority. So if parliament passes a law, as a christian you should heed romans and never even think about challenging it in a court of law.

There are always two choices... To believe or not to believe... Either way you "believe"... How often do you read the Bible and how much do you know about the Christian faith?? If you find it absurd then you are totally out, hakuna mguu uko ndani. Choose wisely.
Can you really "KNOW" anything related to human imagination, which belief is? I don't think so. It is more what you believe not what you know!! So because none of us saw this Jesus so you cant really claim to know anything about him. And even that bible was written by humans and you cant really tell if it is words from God so just "shared individual or collective belief" of the so called prophets.....

So...….

God has blessed some people but not others. Or if you wanted to make the statement more religious, god has blessed people "differently"

So the more blessed are ideally supposed to help out the less blessed so that the more blessed can get more blessed. Twisted. And why not just bless everyone equally?

And what if you are blessed but you don't help the less fortunate but neither do you sin, where in the scale do you sit? Ridiculous

Seriously though, if you obey they law, or those in authority, how is that contravening article 2?
Wewe unajichanganya tu bure trying to justify something that's a non-starters.
If Jesus said give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and to God what belongs to God, shouldn't you first be thinking about what belongs to Caesar and what belongs to God before 'giving' first?

Burn piece by piece until you die? There is no dying my friend. That's why we call it eternal fire . Folks will wish for death but all in vain.

The main message the Bible has been trying to communicate is that we are all sinners...that is why God introduced the 10 commandments...not for us to keep them .But for it to reveal our sinful nature as humans...that is why no one ever kept the 10 commandments ..So the problem was not the 10 commandments but our sinful nature as humans which make us not to fulfill the 10 commandments...and that is what God wanted us to see when he introduced the 10 commandments
Romans 3:20

Just follow the commandments and you will be fine. Moses wrote a whole section of how to live life in the correct way. The rules of living a good life as proscribed by Moses are easy for Africans to follow because they're based on African practices. Moses, a black man, was just documenting how to live life like Africans. For example it's natural for an African to not eat dogs but people from other races had to be taught that dog meat is not food. Some still eat dogs to this day

Our nature, our being is insufficient in itself. It desires a higher power in which if it abides it's sufficed void the conformations Great has been this mystery but to a layman it'd a prove that we are created beings and we owe our life to a power greater than us. Throughout history of men, there have been remedies of every kind at least to achieve the tranquillity of mind. Great kings, adored men of extra-terrestrial stature al would seek, but luckier are those who found the true power. Heathens, scholars, historians and common men alike who in their writs have expressed of their experiences in the past ages confirms of this higher power.

Your case, without judgment is self justification in which your conscience accuse you and guilt of the natural laws overwhelms your perception. A warring self, unstable desires could be winning to a darker side of yourself. Choose a side, quench guilt and self.
