After in and out of hospital for this

The doctor advised me to get eyes check. Yesterday the eye specialist subjected me to read some letters, later he told me i have myopia, i couldn’t not read anything below 0.8 and a normal person should read letters to 0.5.

I spend most of the day on a computer screen, and i believe it must be the cause. I use the dim light setting on a laptop, yet i feel little itching on my eyes. I was advice to buy anti-glare spectacles to help me or get surgery. Surgery apana.

Damn it, am going to be macho nne. I can’t believe it.

Where can i buy anti-glare screen for 15,4’’ laptop screen?

I thought 0.5 is lower than 0.8? ama ni mimi nimekuwa slow this morning

thanks i got it wrong

Enda hapo Barclays plaza. Kwa ground floor kuna mzee anaitwa Dr. MANGUYU. He is an ophthalmic surgeon. Good old hands.

I have worn mine for 11yrs now… same problem. 0.75

Elder, ukimaliza kununua miwani, download f.lux.exe. Ni software inapunguza blue kwa screen. Tangu nianze kuitumia, kichwa imewacha kuniuma na upande ya right

Have an antiglare coating on your spects. Kwa comp screen, always adjust the brightness and contrast to the bare minimum. Take a 5-10minute break after every 40-60minutes staring at that screen. For the same reason, open your doors and let your kids play outside the house.

Extremely important. That blue light has even been seen to interfere with sleep patterns. I’m sure there’s an equivalent for your android phone; in iOS it’s embedded in the OS.

Is there any way i can avoid specs? I hate them sana
The specialist told me it myopia can progress

Three options: Spects, contacts, laser eye surgery. Choose yours.
